In a collaborative effort, the BJMP-CAR La Trinidad District Jail Female Dormitory partnered with Buyagan Elementary School to conduct a feeding program and read a book. BJMP officers engaged with 125 Grade 1 pupils in 5 different classrooms which consist of 25 pupils per room, by reading a book and telling stories about good manners. They conducted also a question and answers games to the pupils. After the reading a book activity is the distribution of snacks. This initiative not only provided nutritious meals to the children but also strengthened community ties.
