These Anti-Theft Clevis/D-Shackles take the place of S-hooks. Unlike S-hooks they can be used multiple times. They are so much easier to install and uninstall then S-hooks. They are stronger and some cities and parks are requiring their use instead of S-hooks. There is a ½” opening at the bolt and at the widest it is 1”. This will accept up to a ½” chain. This product meets all ASTM standards for playgrounds. Make sure during your routine monthly maintenance check, all playground equipment is still in good working condition. No cracks, rough edges, binding, torn or missing parts, cracked plastic or rust. Please replace if equipment doesn't pass inspection to keep the kids safe.
